This care begins with a first call to the office where one will hear the friendly voice of office manager Deb Guglielmo.  Deb will walk you through the steps of eligibility such as insurance coverage and private pay rates ~ she is an excellent resource for those navigating this experience for their first time or when the client’s level of care and need for services have changed.

Once eligibility is determined, a home assessment is scheduled with the client and/or family.  The home visit is done by Mary French, a longtime RN who is known for her personal touch.  Mary will assess the client’s needs and establish an individualized care plan. Though Mary is a nurse, Specialty Home Care Services does NOT provide medical care of any kind, instead, they provide comfort, basic care, and companionship so their clients can remain in their own home.

Next the client is matched with the best caregiver(s) for their needs. Specialty Home Care Services has many dedicated caregivers who go above and beyond every day for their clients and Alicia Lima, Recruiter/Coordinator, is always searching for more CNAs and Certified Homemakers to provide the care offered by SHCS.  She is looking for caregivers who are responsible, reliable, caring, kind, patient, and passionate about the people they serve.
