Santa Claus is coming to Johnston.

Saint Nick will be on Cherry Hill Saturday during the ninth annual Johnston High School Parent-Teacher-Student Organization Holly Fair, which will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. inside the cafeteria.

“Please, spread the word to family and friends,” said Melissa Patrone, who is again co-chairing the ambitious event with Lori Agnew and Deb McHale. “This will be a great place to be to start your holiday shopping.”

In keeping with tradition, the PTSO works closely with students who Patrone said are “extremely excited about Saturday and have been working hard to make this Holly Fair the biggest and best ever.”

Patrone also announced: “We will have many new vendors featuring lots of local products for people of all ages. Whether you need a gift for a teacher, co-worker, mailman or someone special, our PTSO Holly Fair will have that and much, much more Saturday.”

She also said the Holly Fair will again have a special visit from Santa Claus and a few of his friends.

Everything from jewelry to floral arrangements to crafts and women’s apparel were featured last year.

“We’re very, very pleased with the number of vendors who’ll be with us Saturday,” Patrone said. “All our students who attend Johnston High School. So please, bring your friends and families to JHS. You’ll be impressed with the vendors and their wares. This is the prefect event to get ready – and in the mood – for the upcoming holiday season.”

Anyone who’d like further information should call Patrone at 575-1097 or McHale at 952-4607.
