Over the Rainbow, over the moon

Over the Rainbow Learning Center, located at 1269 Plainfield St. in Johnston, held its Summer Fun Graduation Ceremony last Friday afternoon, and students were ecstatic to receive their diplomas.

The first half of the program featured the students – dressed in bathing suits and summer gear – singing several songs, including “Baby Shark,” “Down at the Beach” and “Slippy Fish.” After a brief, 10-minute intermission, students returned in their caps and gowns to receive their degrees.

Jaylin Burgos, Neveah Arkue and Viqtoria Cotto will be heading off to kindergarten. The following students will be returning to the center for another fun-filled year: Darien Jimenez, Harmony Resto, Zoe Leaonhard, Gianna Manifred, Kamila Martinez, Sacorra Colalus, Syniah Lopez, Jaheyera Alcala, Arianna Boutin, Harper Gaudet, Arahelies Tuiz-Berrios and Imani Coker.

“We can’t believe the end is near, we hate to see you go!” read a note on the program from Ms. Amanda, Ms. Lisa and Ms. Joann. “Remember all the things we did, but most of all remember that you are a very special kid!”
