Remembering a lost loved one
To the Editor:
We wanted to take the time to let people know how wonderful the teachers and staff at the Brown Avenue School are.
Our daughter, Geriann Hart (Ysenbart), passed away September 2016 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. She was a very dedicated and talented fourth grade teacher.
We would like to thank all the teachers, staff and students at the school. Last spring, they purchased a tree and a plaque in her memory and it was planted in the playground. The students did a skit in her memory about her teaching antics.
Her funeral was attended by the teachers and students and left us with quite a memory of Geriann’s dedication – an unbelievable gesture – and we are so grateful they helped to make our loss and her two children’s loss a little easier. She is and always will be missed by everyone who knew and loved her.
