JCPenney offering one-day free decoration making for kids

Posted

As part of the new JCPenney Kids Zone program, kids are invited into all JCPenney stores this Saturday, Dec. 16, to decorate a holiday ornament. This fun (and free) craft will take place in the kids department from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., local time. All children must be accompanied by an adult.

Each month, JCPenney is hosting a new project as part of the Kids Zone program. Other upcoming hands-on projects include making a Valentine’s Day cardholder on Jan. 20, creating a mosaic bird house on Feb. 17 and decorating Easter eggs on March 10. Advance sign up is not required.

Kids receive a collectible pin for every project they finish. And after each event, adults will receive a special 10 percent off coupon to use in-store on the day of the event. This coupon can be used in addition to current marketing promotions for maximum savings.
