On Thursday, May 4, the Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce President and CEO John C. Gregory, was awarded the Morris J.W. Gaebe Profile in Excellence by Junior Achievement. The award was established to honor leaders or organizations demonstrating excellence in the Rhode Island community.
Gregory was one of four individuals recognized for courageous thinking and action, vision and innovation, inspiring leadership, and community mindedness.
The Northern Rhode Island Chamber of Commerce represents the interests of businesses in Johnston and the northern Rhode Island communities. The Chamber leads the Chamber of Commerce Coalition, representing 11 area Chambers of Commerce. The Coalition is the largest business advocate in the State of RI representing more than 6,500 businesses and 70,000 employees statewide.
