The Chamber Orchestra of Barrington will present its third concert of the season at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 17, at St. John's Episcopal Church, 191 County Road, Barrington.

Conductor Edward Markward will lead the orchestra in a performance of W.A. Mozart’s Symphony No. 31 in D Major, “The Paris,” Richard Wagner’s Siegfried Idyll, a symphonic poem for chamber orchestra, and Igor Stravinsky’s Pulcinella Suite, based on a one-act, neo-classical ballet.

The orchestra, comprised of professional, community and student musicians from Rhode Island, Connecticut and Massachusetts, was created to showcase the finest quality music in the chamber orchestra repertoire. Jacob Stott, the director of music programs at St. John’s, hosts the orchestra and also performs as the keyboardist.

Local residents performing are Catherine Drance, clarinet, Wendy Rios, violin, Donna Gardos, cello, and Erin Erban, viola, all of Warwick; Jacob Stott, keyboard, of Johnston; and John Simpson, violin, and Jonathan Malone, bassoon, both of East Greenwich.

The concert is free, but donations are welcome. The season finale will take place on Sunday, April 7.
