BankRI's 20th Annual 'Holiday Giving Tree' kicks-off

Posted

Bank Rhode Island (BankRI) has kicked-off its signature “Holiday Giving Tree” for the 20th year to help brighten the holidays for underprivileged children across the state.

Each of BankRI’s 20 branches will collect gifts to help grant the holiday wishes of local children in need. All of the gifts collected will then be distributed to children in time for the December holiday by the Bank’s nonprofit partners.

Upon entering a BankRI branch, members of the community will find a “Holiday Giving Tree” placed prominently in the lobby, decorated with ornaments featuring the name, age and holiday wish of children served by that branch’s nonprofit partner. Folks are invited to select an ornament to provide that child with a gift for the holidays. Donors may then return to their local branch to place the unwrapped gifts beneath the “Holiday Giving Tree.”

BankRI’s nonprofit Johnston partner for its 20th annual “Holiday Giving Tree” is the Tri-Town Community Action Agency. To find a BankRI branch location and their hours of operation, visit www.bankri.com/locations.
