Sophomore Semi is an annual dance held for the sophomore class each year. This is always their first big dance of their high school years, aside from Winterball.
This dance is being celebrated by the class of 2017 this Friday, April 17. Student council members that are in the class of 2017 will leave school very early on Friday to set up the dance at the Crystal Lake Country Club. The rest of the students that are attending the dance will be allowed to leave after the fourth class of the day.
The theme this year is “Breakfast at Tiffany’s,” which celebrates the beautiful and classy Audrey Hepburn. The class of 2017 has put a lot of work into their dance and can’t wait for everyone to see it. They may not be the most spirited class, but their Sophomore Semi is something nobody is going to forget.
This dance would not be possible without the contributions of the cass of 2017 student council members and their advisor, Mrs. Ferraro.
