The fact is that anyone with a concealed carry permit walking into your school is not the person you have to worry about. A concealed carry permit holder has had to go through extensive police background checks, qualification with the firearm they carry, and monitoring by law enforcement. In other words if you get in any trouble? hey will pull your permit to carry.

The majority of these school shootings have been done by STUDENTS of that school or persons who are in intimate contact with a person of authority in that school.

The person you have to worry about will NOT have a concealed carry permit. It's the person Without the concealed carry permit who is the danger.

According to Wikipedia you are more likely to be a victim of this type of violence from someone who is in your own school than someone from the outside coming in. This person is Male (98%) a loner with no friends or someone who is "dark" in personality (not racially) serious mental issues, bipolar, antisocial, depressed, or schizophrenic. another type is the unmercifully bullied, shunned or tormented. and Last but not least abused either physically, mentally, or sexually.

In Addition you are far more likely to die in your car on the way to or from school than by school shooting.

Finally, this bill will not pass because it is bad law.

It does nothing to protect anyone from anything. Sure they can level charges against the violator, but that's after the police

and coroner come to pick up the bodies of the dead.

The simple fact is Criminals and the mentally ill do not care what the law is.

Do you REALLY think someone who has just shot 20 people and is facing 20 counts of murder, 20 counts of carrying a firearm when committing a felony, 20 counts of discharging a firearm in a building and multiple life sentences or the death penalty (in other states) is going to care one moment about your "Safe Schools Act"?

In addition? Most of those kids couldn't give a crap about this issue. They were just there so they could get out of class for the day.
