Warwick will see no increase in exemption for 3 years. Cars older than 15 years old will now be valued at $500, so there will be a portion of cars coming off the tax rolls. There will not be any big windfall savings for Warwick. Furthermore, this plan will fail as it is based on the same legislation that was put forth in 2007 that ultimately failed. Just think, if this plan were to work, (which it will not) in 2023 we will be right exactly where we were in 2007. So in 16 years we will be back where we started in 2007. Is that progress?????
