Good for you Ms. Ryan!!

First and foremost I have to say that Mr. Russo was the best teacher I ever had! He is the reason I am a teacher today! He was able to connect with us in ways many teachers couldn't. Aside from that, he always went above and beyond for the kids. He was the teacher that went to athletic games, school events, ran student council, always won float, always! He was a true leader at Johnston and a positive role model for all kids. He exemplified honesty, integrity and school pride. If it were not for Mr. Russo, many students would not have enjoyed their school experience as much as they did. If he forged the two checks, he is certainly guilty of making a mistake, but there is a huge differnce between a minor mistake for the students to get signed up for s trip ahead of time, versus a criminal that belongs in jail for repeated criminal actions.

He is a great person, an excellent teacher and I am so happy you spoke up Ms. Ryan because you were also an amazing English Teacher.

Mr. Russo will always be a great person in my book!
