This is why we need to teach our history better, and demand our Government follow the Constitution. The banks weren't too big to fail, just too well connected.

This by the way is a Constitutional Republic, treating all people equally under the law. We democratically elect Representatives that were supposed to be protecting the Constitution. They have instead been selling it and it's purpose for votes. A true Democracy is mob rule, ex: Two wolves and a lamb voting on what's for dinner.
