Dolores M. (DeAngelis) Silvers, 96, passed away Thursday, August 22, 2024.  She was the beloved wife of James Buddy Silvers to whom she shared 68 years of marriage prior to his passing in 2016.  Born in Cranston, she was one of eleven children born to the late Francesco and Fenizzia (Pennine) DeAngelis.

Dolores loved her family more than anything else and was very active in her grandchildren’s lives, attending every school and sporting event they had.  She enjoyed entertaining, especially during the holidays from the Feast of the Seven Fishes on Christmas Eve to turkey dinners at Thanksgiving. Always impeccably dressed, she will be remembered for her style, class and kind demeanor.  Dolores will be missed by all those who had the privilege to know and love her.

She was the devoted mother of Lynn A. Sumner (Carey), Gary D. Silvers (Patricia), and the late James Allen Silvers; cherished ‘Gram’ of Lauren, Katie, Ashley, Alison, Kristen and Jeffrey and the great-grandmother of Finlay, Adalynn, Amanda, Mitchel, Peyton and Keaton.
