Joan Carole Newman, 89, of Warwick, passed away on Sunday, July 14, 2024. She was the wife of late Kenneth Newman, whom she married on September 23, 1955. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Louis F. and Jane M. (Lambert) Dragon.
Joan worked as a Phlebotomist for Kent Hospital and was a longtime member of the First Congregational Church of Warwick.
She is survived by her beloved children, Kenneth L. Newman, Jr. of Sterling, CT and Susan J. Newman (Harold L. McKnight) of Warwick.
She was the sister of the late Phyllis Newman.
Her Funeral Services will be private and have been entrusted to THE URQUHART-MURPHY FUNERAL HOME, 800 Greenwich Avenue, Warwick.
