The Cranston East boys soccer team rolled past Mt. Pleasant 5-1. The Bolts were led by Fabricio Mariscal with a pair of goals while Mateo Zurita, Gabriel Leon and Jeff Derosier also found the back of the net.
Alvaro Ortega-Reyes earned the win, allowing one goal and stopping 5 shots.
The Bolts improved to 2-1-1 with the win.
West 1, Mt. Hope 1
The Falcons and Huskies played to a tie last Friday night. West got its lone goal from Tyler Gesualdi while Alex Arroyo recorded an assist. Keeper Jack Payne made 5 saves in net.
GIRLS VOLLEYBALL
West 3, Cumberland 1
The Falcons earned a win on Monday night and were led by Olivia Venagro, who registered 7 kills, 4 aces and 16 assists. Sarah Crowley added 12 kills in the win as well.
