Calling all cooks!
RhodyBeat.com is hosting a Celebrity Chef competition for the month of November!
Do you have a great recipe you want to share? Have you always wanted your own cooking show? Do you have the skills to blend culinary arts with entertainment? Then we're looking for you!
Applicants should enter a brief reason why they should be RhodyBeat.com's celebrity chef, followed by their best recipe. Recipes can be for any type of food: breakfast, desserts, dinner, lunches, candy...show us your specialty! If you have a photo of your finished product, upload that too!
Three guest judges from three area restaurants will judge the entries including Diane and Jim Belknap from the Greenville Inn and Elizabeth Krause from Elizabeth of Portofino.
The winner will receive a gourmet food basket and their very own 15-minute cooking show in which they demonstrate their winning recipe! The video will be shared on the Warwick Beacon, Johnston Sun Rise and Cranston Herald websites, RhodyBeat.com, our facebook pages and our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/WarwickBeacon.
A winner will be announced on November 28. Deadline for entries is November 25. We encourage applicants to share their entries with friends and family to rate and comment.
To enter:
-Visit www.RhodyBeat.com and click on "Contests"
-Under "Celebrity Chef" click "Post your submission" (If you are not registered, you will be asked to provide your email and a password. Registration is free.)
-Select "Post a Blog" and continue through the process.
-Don't forget to upload a photo if you'd like, and make sure to click the "Celebrity Chef" check box at the bottom of the form!
