SHOPLIFTING

Around 6:44 p.m., Oct. 5, Cranston Police Officers arrested Shane Warren, 47, of 485 Plainfield St., Providence, for one count of Shoplifting. The arrest was the result for a call of a shoplifting in progress at Stop & Shop, 204 Garfield Ave. Warren was arraigned by a Justice of the Peace and transported to the ACI as a bail, probation or parole violator, according to Cranston Police.

DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 6:54 p.m., Oct. 4, Cranston Police Officers arrested Steven Glidden, 62, of 4 Princess Ave., Cranston for Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Glidden was arraigned and released by Justice of the Peace, according to Cranston Police.

FELONY SHOPLIFTING

At 10:10 p.m., Oct. 4, Cranston Police Officers arrested Kelly Brown, 50, of no known address for Felony Shoplifting as a result of a larceny complaint at Stop and Shop, 204 Garfield Ave. Brown was held for morning arraignments as a Probation Violator, according to Cranston Police.

DUI & DRUG POSSESSION

Around 4:20 p.m., Oct. 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Patrick J. Leonard, 45, of 50 College St., Warwick, for DUI (BAC unknown) and possession of I-V (fentanyl). The arrest was the result of an crash investigation on Oaklawn Avenue and Cottrell Street. Leonard was arraigned, presented as a violator, and remanded to the ACI, according to Cranston Police.

DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Around 5:36 p.m., Oct. 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Rudolph K. Dadzie, 43, of 74 Lambert St., Cranston , for domestic disorderly conduct.

At the same time, Cranston Police also arrested Keisha Turner, 36, of 74 Lambert Stet, Cranston, for domestic disorderly conduct.

The arrests were the result of a disturbance call on Lambert Street. Dadzie and Turner were arraigned and released, according to Cranston Police.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
& DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Around 7:08 p.m., Oct. 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Payne Sayavong, 36, of 10 Stony Acre Drive, Cranston, for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault. The arrest was the result of an investigation from Pleasant Street, according to Cranston Police. Sayavong was arraigned and released.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
& DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Around 10:30 p.m., Oct. 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Francine Trainor, 55, of 82 Red Hawk Drive, Cranston, for domestic disorderly conduct and domestic simple assault. The arrest was the result of an investigation from Red Hawk Drive. Trainor was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

DOMESTIC DISORDERLY CONDUCT

Around 7:27 p.m., Oct. 2, Cranston Police Officers arrested Catarlos Forrest, 43, of 49 Beachmont Ave., Cranston, charging him with one count of Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was a result of the suspect turning himself in after a call for service at 5:22 p.m. at Beachmont Avenue. Forrest was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

SIMPLE ASSAULT
& DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 9:14 p.m., Oct. 1, Cranston Police Officers arrested Thomas C. Mercurio, 70, of 227 Hyde St., Cranston, for one count Disorderly Conduct and one count of Simple Assault. The arrest was a result of a disturbance call at 227 Hyde St. Mercurio was held for morning court.

DOMESTIC SIMPLE ASSAULT
& DISORDERLY CONDUCT

At 9:18 a.m., Oct. 1, Cranston Police Officers arrested Talia Darosa, 28, of 125 Westwood Ave., Cranston, for Domestic Simple Assault and Domestic Disorderly Conduct. The arrest was the result of a previous incident and Cranston Police Warrant. Darosa was transported to 3rd District Court.

NO LICENSE

Around 8:48 a.m., Aug. 26, Warwick Police working a traffic detail on Jefferson Boulevard spotted a white 1998 Ford van pass by their location and the driver was allegedly not wearing a seatbelt.

Police initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Dino J. Depina, 29, of 24 Haven Ave., Apt. 2, Cranston.

Police checked Depina’s record and found his driver’s license had been suspended.

“Depina was found to have three prior convictions out of RI for driving on a suspended license,” Warwick Police Lt. Jedidiah D. Pineau wrote in the arrest report.

A tow truck was called to the scene.

“During an inventory of the vehicle I located an empty Corona beer bottle next to the drivers seat which appeared to have been dumped out as there was an overwhelming odor of alcohol coming from the area,” Pineau wrote in the report. Police also found a “second opened, half full, and still cold to the touch Corona beer bottle to the rear of the driver’s seat near the partition separating the cargo area from passenger area of the van.”

Depina was arrested and charged with Driving with Suspended/Revoked/Cancelled License (fourth or subsequent offense, a misdemeanor).
