At 3:58 a.m., July 21, Cranston Police Officers arrested John Arias, 28, of 159 Bridgham St., Apt. A22, Providence, for DUI BAC unknown and breathalyzer refusal as a result of a service call at McDonald's, 923 Cranston St. Arias was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 11:30 p.m., July 20, Cranston Police Officers arrested Michael Martinez, 47, of 36 Hawkins Boulevard, North Providence, for disorderly conduct, simple assault and resisting illegal or legal arrest as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. The defendant was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 11:56 p.m., July 20, Cranston Police Officers arrested Vincent Douglas, 22, of 210 Seven Mile Road, Cranston, for disorderly conduct and simple assault as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. The defendant was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

RESISTING ARREST

At 12:19 a.m., July 21, Cranston Police Officers arrested Paul Burrows, 31, of 63 Silver Lake Ave., Providence, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. The defendant was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

RESISTING ARREST

At 11:58 p.m., July 20, Cranston Police Officers arrested Dean Antonelli, 21, of 935 Pontiac Ave., Cranston, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. The defendant was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

RESISTING ARREST

At 12:20 a.m., July 20, Cranston Police Officers arrested Albert DeRobbio, 30, of 12 Intervale Road, Apt 0291, Cranston, for Disorderly Conduct, obstructing officer in execution of duty and Resisting Arrest as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. The defendant was awaiting arraignment, according to Cranston Police.

RESISTING ARREST

At 9:14, July 20, Cranston Police Officers arrested Dennis Sanford, 46, of 85 Briggs St., Apt. 813, Cranston, for Disorderly Conduct and Resisting Arrest as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. Sanford was held for morning arraignment as a Probation Violator, according to Cranston Police.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

At 11:31 p.m., July 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested Mya Angell, 18, of 14 River Drive, Johnston, for Simple Assault, Disorderly Conduct, and Resisting Arrest as a result of a disturbance at the St. Mary’s Feast. Angell was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

SUSPENDED LICENSE

At 3:01 p.m., July 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested Aaryn Johnson, 26, of 2 Beaulieu Ave., Coventry for Driving after Suspension of License, 4th or Subsequent Offense, a misdemeanor, as a result of an Affidavit Warrant pick up at Coventry Police. Johnson was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

FELONY SHOPLIFTING

At 3:54 p.m., July 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested two Warwick residents following a larceny complaint at Walmart, 1776 Plainfield Pike.

William Statkiewicz, 40, of 3188 Post Road, Warwick, was arrested and charged with Felony Shoplifting, Conspiracy, and Violation of a No Contact Order.

Statkiewicz was presented as a bail and probation Violator and transported to Men’s Intake at the ACI, according to Cranston Police.

At the same time, Cranston Police Officers also arrested Michelle Paolillo, 36, of 3188 Post Road, Warwick. They charged her with Shoplifting and Conspiracy. Paolillo was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

DOMESTIC VANDALISM

At 8:47 p.m., July 19, Cranston Police Officers arrested Marcus Doyle, 29, of 192 Burdick Drive, Cranston for Domestic Vandalism/Malicious Injury to Property and Domestic Disorderly Conduct as a result of a disturbance at the aforementioned address. Doyle was arraigned and released by a Justice of the Peace.

NO CONTACT ORDER VIOLATION

At 3:49 p.m., July 16, Cranston Police Officers arrested Jake Hayter, 31, of 72 Eldridge St., Cranston, for one count Domestic Violation of a No- Contact Order (3rd or greater offense). The arrest was a result of North Smithfield Police taking Hayter into custody on a previously issued Affidavit and Arrest Warrant out of the Cranston Police Department. Hayter was presented as a bail or probation violator and transported to the ACI Intake.

NO CONTACT ORDER VIOLATION

At 6:02 p.m., July 6, Cranston Police Officers arrested Christine Hernandez, 32, of 236 Greenwood St., Apt. 2, Cranston, for one count of Domestic Violence Violation of a No-Contact Order. The arrest was a result of a motor vehicle stop and subsequent investigation. At arraignment, Hernandez was presented as a bail or probation violator and transported to Women’s Intake at the ACI.

SIMPLE ASSAULT

Around 5:30 a.m., July 16, Cranston Police Officers arrested Mykal Reyes, 20 of 575 Dyer Ave., Cranston, for simple assault and disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 96 Harris Ave.

At the same time, police also arrested Corday Darnley, 18 of 83 Victoria Ave., Cranston, for simple assault and disorderly conduct. The arrest was the result of a disturbance at 96 Harris Ave.

MISDEMEANOR SUSPENDED LICENSE

Around 5:19 p.m., May 31, Warwick Police Officer Connor R. Bemis was at a fixed traffic post across from Motel 6 on Jefferson Boulevard when he spotted a grey Dodge pass with an expired registration. According to the arrest report, the expired registration was shown to be suspended on a blue Toyota as of 2019.

Bemis initiated a traffic stop and identified the driver as Angel A. Colon Vega, 25, of 501 Reservoir Ave., Apt. 13, Cranston. According to police, the driver’s license had been suspended under the Colin B. Foote Act, a Rhode Island state law that levies higher penalties for repeat traffic violations.

The driver was arrested and charged with Driving after Denial/Revocation/Suspension for Certain Violations (first offense; a misdemeanor). He was transported to Warwick Police Headquarters and later released without incident.
