Patricia D. (Brown) O’Connor 82, passed away on July 23, 2024. She was the wife of the late Raymond V. O’Connor; they had been married for 54 years prior to his passing in 2018. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Edward and Dorothy (Pyne) Brown.
Patricia has been a communicant of St. Rose & Clement Church for over 40 years where she served as a Eucharistic Minister, and a member of the Legion of Mary for many years.
She was the primary care giver for her grandfather, and her mom. She loved being with her family, especially her grandchildren. She spent the summers from a young age until the 1990’s at Roy Carpenters Beach.
Patricia is survived by her loving son, Raymond V. O’Connor Jr. and his wife Gina, and her grandchildren Sean E. O’Connor and his wife Hunter, and Kathryn M. O’Connor. She was the sister of Elaine McCauley, Edward “Ted” Brown, and Frederick Brown.
Her funeral will be held on Monday, July 29, 2024, at 8:30 a.m. from the Barrett & Cotter Funeral Home, 1328 Warwick Avenue, Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Rose & Clement Church, 111 Long Street, Warwick. Visiting hours will be on Sunday July 28, 2024, from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN.
