Michael P. DeMeo

Michael P. DeMeo, 49,
of Scenery Lane,
died February 21, 2008 at Rhode
Island Hospital.
He was the beloved husband of Lyslie (Rhude) DeMeo. They had recently
celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary.
Born in Providence, a son of the late Albert S. and Mary M.
(DelSignore) DeMeo, he had been a resident of Johnston
for nine years and had previously lived in Providence
and North Providence. Michael was a working
leader for Fleet Maintenance at National Grid, where he had been employed for
19 years. He was a member of Local #310, a Eucharistic minister for St.
Lawrence Church and a member of St.
Augustine Church.
Besides his wife he is
survived by his beloved son, Michael Paul DeMeo, with whom he lived; a sister,
Donna M. De La Rosa of North Providence; a brother, Paul E. DeMeo, MD of
Falmouth, Mass.; his mother-in-law, Rachel A. (Pinto) Rhude of North
Providence; and a large extended family of brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law,
nieces, nephews and many friends whose lives were enriched by his warmth,
caring, generosity and humor.
A Mass of Christian
Burial was held Feb. 27 in St.
Augustine Church,
639 Mt. Pleasant Ave.,
Providence. Burial followed in St. Ann's Cemetery, Cranston.
