Michaela J. Terry, MSN, BNS, RN, of Warwick, Rhode Island, a devoted nurse, passed away on September 17, 2024, at the age of 53. Born on May 20, 1971, in Providence, Rhode Island.
Michaela is survived by her brother, Timothy Terry; and niece, Anja Scott; dearest friend, Matthew James; honorary big sister, Cheryl McClaren, and her husband, Rodney; many loving friends and cousins; and her fur baby, Teddy.
She was predeceased by her parents, David and Joane Terry; her grandmother, Anne Fernandes; her sister, Ellen; and her brothers, Thomas and David Terry.
Michaela was a proud alumna of East Greenwich High School and Community College of Rhode Island. Michaela bravely fought many medical battles, yet despite her challenges, she was proud to achieve her nursing degree. Michaela earned her Bachelor’s at Salve Regina University in Newport, Rhode Island and Master’s in Nursing Education from Western Governors University, Utah. Her nursing career spanned emergency medicine, home care, case management, and education; most recently teaching at Lincoln Technical Institute.
She loved traveling with friends. Michaela was strong-willed, vivacious, and funny; she worked hard and laughed harder.
Michaela will be terribly missed by all who loved her.
