Laurence Aldege Lemery, Jr., 61, of 7 Linbrook Drive, died Tuesday, May 28th, 2024, at Kent County Memorial Hospital.
He was born July 17th, 1962, in Warwick, son of the late Laurence Lemery and Carol A. Curran.
Laurence worked at Tri-Jay Co. in Johnston, RI, for 36 years.
Besides his fiancée, Leah Jai, he leaves his beloved family including his three sons Ryan Lemery, Andrew Lemery and Lee Lemery. He also leaves a sister, Charlotte Lemery- Salisbury, a brother, Adolph Lemery as well as his nieces and nephews.
Laurence loved music and was an extremely accomplished guitar player. He played with multiple successful bands in the span of his career of 40+ years including “North East Groove.” Until his passing, he played with his band “Just Like Zeppelin,“ whose members loved him like family. He leaves behind its members: Leah Jai, Joseph Biancorosso and Michael Foley.
A Celebration of Life Service will be at The American Legion, 622 West Shore Rd., Warwick, RI, Monday, June 24th from 7-10 PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be made to The American Heart Association.
