Carole B. (Murphy) Flynn, age 90, of East Greenwich and formerly of Warwick, RI, died on March 21, 2023 at The Seasons, Assisted Living. Carole was predeceased by her loving husband, Ralph Francis Flynn, Jr., DDS of 56 years and her brother Robert P. Murphy.

Carole was born in Providence, and the daughter of the late James C. Murphy and Mildrena (Evans) Murphy. She was a resident of Warwick Neck since 1965. A graduate of Cranston East High School and Rhode Island College she became a teacher before marrying Ralph on May 4, 1957. They first lived in Governor Francis Farms, in Warwick, and later settled in Warwick Neck, and raised a family of all girls together.

Carole is survived by all five of her daughters, Anne C. Flynn of Warwick, Katherine M. Kusior and husband Patrick of Londonderry, NH, Elizabeth Carey and husband Michael, of Attleboro, MA, Carole Stimpson and her husband Paul of Brooksville, FL and Amy E. Flynn of Warwick; and her grandchildren, Ethan Kusior, Aidan, Catie Mae, and Liam Carey and Alysha Moscarelli; two great-grandchildren, Arya and Benjamin Moscarelli; and many nieces and nephews. She was the sister to James E. Murphy (and wife Corinne) of Austin, TX and Janice Gilligan (and husband Tom) of Sarasota FL.

Carole was a person of deep faith and an active member of St. Kevin Church, where she served as the CCD Religious Director for many years. Carole was also an avid perennial gardener, loved to travel, cook, play golf and enjoyed a good game of bridge. She was also a member of Warwick Country Club, the Warwick Neck Garden Club, and served as a Eucharistic minister at St. Kevin Church.

Carole was a devoted grandmother to her grandchildren, attending numerous dance recitals, band concerts, school performances and enjoyed baking with them.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, April 1, at 11:00 a.m. in St. Kevin Church, 333 Sandy Lane, Warwick.  Relatives and friends are invited. The family will receive friends and family at the church prior to the mass from 10:00-10:45 a.m. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, West Greenwich. Kindly omit flowers.
