Susan E. DiGiovanni, age 63, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Sunday, August 25, 2024.
She was the beloved wife of Paul DiGiovanni, Sr. for over 40 years and the devoted mother of her three beautiful children, Krystal, Katelynn (husband, Colin Edwards) and Paul Jr. (fiancée, Laura Igoe) who she considered her greatest legacy and gift.
Susan was known as an incredibly charitable and kindhearted woman who dedicated her career to managing group homes of adults with developmental disabilities across the state of Rhode Island. Susan loved to decorate and host the holidays for her loving family; she was known as a wonderful cook and talented baker. If you asked her husband Paul, there was no bakery cake that could live up to the homemade cakes Susan baked for her family at every event.
An impeccable dresser, Susan will be remembered for her incredible sense of style and love of earrings. She was known for the sound advice she gave to anyone who needed a shoulder to lean on and made an indelible mark on every life that she touched. She loved to dance, whether it be out on the town with her husband or in the kitchen with her children. She will be incredibly missed by everyone who had the privilege and opportunity to know her.
A Visitation will be held Saturday, September 7, 2024, from 10am-12pm in the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Chapel, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick with a service to follow at 12pm. Interment will be in Quidnessett Memorial Cemetery, North Kingstown. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society, P. O. Box 7312, Warwick, R.I. 02886 will be appreciated.
