“Celebrating the 25th anniversary production of ‘Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat’ is a special milestone for us,” said Director of Arts Julia Paolino.
“This show is a tribute to the pure joy of storytelling with friends and the magic of using our imaginations. It’s a lively party that invites everyone to rediscover their inner child. This year, we’re especially excited to incorporate a children’s chorus featuring talented students from the Summer Stage Workshop. With the past, present, and future of the program together on stage, this production does what Summer Stage does best: fuses together generations for the creation of art and community,” Paolino said.
One of the most enduring shows of all time, this telling of the biblical story of Joseph and his brothers is filled with great music, costumes, laughter, joy, and heart. Utilizing many different styles of music from pop/rock to country to musical comedy, this sparkling show follows young Joseph as he faces adversity and triumphs through his dreams and his strong, unwavering faith.
Bishop Hendricken’s production features a company of more than 50 student actors, technicians, and musicians. A full cast, crew, pit band, and creative team.
