A Wish Come True charity ball celebrates 35 years of wish granting

A Wish Come True, a local non- profit organization that grants wishes to children ages 3 through 18 who have life-threatening illnesses and live in Rhode Island and areas of southeastern Massachusetts, is celebrating 35 years of granting wishes at its “One Arabian Night” Charity Ball on Friday, October 13 at the Alpine Country Club in Cranston. Music will be provided by Rugburn. Emcee for the evening will be Pete Silva of WHJY. This ball is hosted by the agency’s Board of Directors.

Founded in 1982, A Wish Come True is the oldest wish granting organization in Rhode Island. To date, the agency has granted over 1,500 wishes, 24 of which have been granted this year.
