Yappy Hour: Puppy Picnic

FRIENDS: Chris DeFazio, holding Charlotte (a Brussels griffon,) and Shay DeFazion, holding Merlin (a mini Australian Labradoodle, during Yappy Hour in Garden City Center.

NETWORKING: Just as owners were able to network at Yappy Hour in Garden City, the pups had a chance to get to know one another and socialize as well.

DASHING DACHSHUNDS: Enjoying a nice evening in Garden City along with their dogs were Rosie Marie and Frankie. Their two Dachshunds were Dianne and Ron Renzi.

Garden City Center hosted a Yappy Hour Puppy Picnic on May 20. They allowed for pets and owners to enjoy treats and the outdoor atmosphere.
The area near the center’s gazebo was the place to be for the event -- which was open to the public. People were able to enjoy samples from various Garden City restaurants as pets were treated with appropriate treats.
As many dogs played, many people got to know one another. (Herald photos by Steve Popiel)
