To the Editor,
Why do we need two High Schools? Why not demolish either Samuel Gorton or Aldrich school and build one High School to serve the entire city? Either location has plenty of room for the school campus and athletic fields. As we know the student population is declining every year.
We do not need two high schools? Follow Pawtucket's example and combine the two into one. We are not going to build 2 schools for $350 million. It will probably be over $500 million before we are done. The taxpayers of Warwick cannot afford this.
