The Warwick Fire Fighters Soccer Club along with the Gianna Cirella Memorial Foundation and the Elanna Zuller Memorial Sports Fund recently awarded their annual scholarships to long-time players and recent high school graduates that make a difference both on and off the pitch for the league. This year’s scholarships were $300 per recipient. WFFSC wishes these recipients all the best in their college endeavors.
The recipients are: Toll Gate’s Rhontahn Vega (URI, Mechanical Engineering); Pilgrim’s Braxton Bragg (Emmanuel College, Criminal Justice); Toll Gate’s Anna Pickering (URI, Psychology); Pilgrim’s Lily Howard (URI, Nursing); Cranston East’s Lily Guyon (Johnson and Wales, Graphic Design); Pilgrim’s Destinee Frias (Salve Regina, Nursing).
