WE ROBOTS: Rhode Island Gov. Dan McKee toured the Amazon robotics sortable fulfillment center in Johnston, which has yet to open. According to an Amazon spokesman, the giant building should be kicking into gear by the holiday season. Floors two through five of the facility (the size of approximately 66 football fields), are packed with small blue robots.

As we are becoming more acclimated to severe weather these days, it is always worse when the weather becomes damaging and dangerous.

On Wednesday, June 26, a tiny part of the neighborhood on Mauran and Beckwith streets experienced what is being considered a microburst.

Downed trees, uprooted sidewalks, damaged fences and even a crushed garage were the result for several homes.

"We were very happy that there wasn't more damage. Our house and family are safe. We are grateful for that," said Erin Gee who ended up with a few large branches in her backyard.

With her children's toys escaping any real devastation, the family breathed a huge sigh of relief with the minimal damage they had.
