Securing Weapons Safely event to be held Aug. 3 in Cranston

Aug. 3, Securing Weapons Safely and Free Gun Lock is scheduled on Sat., Aug. 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.  Secure storage of weapons is now the law in Rhode Island.  For information about safely securing weapons, gun sense volunteers from RI will be available at the Central Library, 140 Sockanosset Cross Rd., Cranston, in the Community Room.  Stop by for a free gun lock and learn how to securely store weapons which will save lives and make our communities safer.  Residents from all RI communities are welcome.  This event is not endorsed by or affiliated with the Cranston Public Library.
