Thomas and Mary Mulhearn of Narragansett, formerly of Warwick, announce the engagement of their son, Matthew Thomas Mulhearn, to Sarah Hartmann Hoffman, daughter of Reverend Doctor Robert and Karen Hoffman of Weston, Conn.
The future bride graduated from Greens Farms Academy in Westport, Conn. and Tulane University. She is a human resources generalist for Robert A.M. Stern Architects in New York City.
The future groom is a graduate of Bishop Hendricken High School, Tulane University and holds a master's degree in accounting from the Freeman School of Business at Tulane University. A CPA, he is an accountant with State Street Corp. in Jersey City, N.J.
An April 6, 2013 wedding is planned in New Orleans, La., where they met. The couple will live in New York City.
