A local family recently unearthed a piece of the past – and now, they’re seeking the community’s help. Dozens of people are seen in a group photo that appears to have been taken between the mid-1930s and early 1940s, possibly in the Thornton section of Cranston. The photo was found in a relative’s home on Atwood Avenue and is connected to the family name Mancini. Anyone with information regarding the picture, or who’s able to identify any of the people in it, can contact Valerie Vacca at valerie.vacca@gmail.com.
