The East Greenwich Rotary Club held their annual citrus drive this year with delivery of the fruit being made earlier than customary from Paul Aprin in hopes of catching good weather. They lucked out Saturday as the service club assisted by Rotary Interact students from Rocky Hill Country Day School loading cars as they stopped in to make pickups. The club’s citrus drive coordinator, Kate Upham, said the sale raises several thousand dollars to support the club’s charitable causes. In addition to the citrus drive, the club holds an e-waste recycling day set for April 23, 2022 at New England Institute of  Technology. Those cost of recycling a single item is $1 with a maximum of $10 per car.
