Leave it Kevin and Kathy Eisemann, to shine a spotlight on Ruthie Lundin who celebrates her 100th birthday today. Ruthie was born in Providence to Swedish immigrants, Nellie & Oke Lundin, and is the eldest of their four children, and the only daughter. She was 12 years old when the family moved to Warwick and has been a Warwick resident ever since. She worked for the Amica insurance company for many years. Ruthie has been a long time faithful member of Pilgrim Lutheran Church in Warwick, through which she has many friends of all ages. Ruthie has 7 loving nieces & nephews. Friends Kevin and Kathy couldn’t let the occasion go by without sharing the news with the Today Show. The show confirmed the submission with a link to download a file of her photo on the Smucker’s background with her name and hometown plus Kevin and Kathy’s personalized message.
