Roundup: Falcons drop second straight

The Cranston West football team dropped its second straight decision when it fell to Cumberland 29-14 on the road.
Similar to their previous game against St. Ray’s, the Falcons gave themselves a chance to pull off the comeback when Anthony Salas rushed for a touchdown to cut the deficit to 8 points in the fourth quarter. The Clippers responded by scoring a late touchdown of their own, though, to run away with the win.
West will be hosting undefeated South Kingstown on Thursday night in a pivotal DI battle.
