FROM STAFF REPORTS The Toll Gate boys basketball team picked up a 59-42 win over visiting St. Ray’s on Tuesday night.
Jude Booth and Shawn Nolette led the Titans with 12 points scored while Pharrell Soares hit double figures with 10.
The Titans improved to 2-4 overall this winter and took on Tolman on Wednesday evening, but the results were not available at press time.
The Pilgrim girls swim team cruised to a big win over Burrillville on Tuesday.
Kaylee Collins took first place in the 200 freestyle and the 500 freestyle, while Kara Lee took first place in 50 freestyle and the 100 breaststroke. Erin Cassidy took first place in the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke.
Also placing first was Cassidy, Madison Tartarian, Lee, and Charlotte McPherson in the 200 medley relay; and, Cassidy, Lee, McPherson and Collins in the 200 free relay.
Taking second for the Pats were McPherson in the 200 free; Allison Shaheen in the 50 free; Keaney Bayha in the 100 free; Tartarian in the 500 free; Madison Ventura in the 100 backstroke. Bayha, Shaheen, Abigail Steinhiller and Ventura took second in the 200 free relay.
The team will next face Tolman on Friday afternoon.
