Frank M. Melone, Jr., 70, passed away Thursday, June 20, 2024. He was the beloved husband of Lynne M. (Sears) Melone and a son of the late Frank and Antoinetta (Venagro) Melone, Sr. Frank was employed as a sales representative for over 30 years and retired from Geoffrey Meat Distributors. After his retirement he worked for 20 years with various dealerships as a private contractor. Frank was passionate about the game of golf. He was a member of the West Warwick Country Club and got a hole-in-one at the Gator Creek Golf Course in Florida. He also loved his New York Giants. He was the loving brother of Lucille A. Reilly, Anne M. Hohlmaier, Elaine A. Bardoussi, and the late Susan A. Nievera. He also leaves several nieces and nephews.
His funeral was held Monday, July 1, 2024, at 9:00am from the Thomas & Walter Quinn Funeral Home, 2435 Warwick Ave., Warwick, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00am in St. Kevin Church, Sandy Ln. Burial will follow in Pawtuxet Memorial Cemetery, Warwick. Visiting hours Sunday 4-7pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to American Lung Association, 55 W.
