Rep. Deborah Fellela recently received the unanimous endorsement of the House District 43 Committee in her reelection bid. Fellela, a Democrat, was endorsed by Joseph Rotella, Douglas Jeffrey and Kevin Millonzi.
“This was a very easy decision because Deb has been a tireless advocate for the students of Johnston for many years,” said Rotella, the vice chairman of the Johnston School Committee. “The state aid provided to our public schools has nearly doubled since she has been serving Johnston at the State House.”
“Deb has worked extremely closely with the Mayor and she has truly delivered for our community,” said Jeffrey, the chief of staff to Mayor Joseph Polisena. “She has been a champion for phasing out the burdensome car tax and she has made sure our town receives the proper level of state funding to keep property taxes stable.”
Fellela, a Deputy Majority Leader, has been a member of the House since 2007.
