Falling into autumn with local harvest festival

OUT AND ABOUT: Joann Conti and her two-and-a-half-year-old daughter C.C. enjoyed Saturday’s harvest festival.

FURRY FRIENDS WELCOMED: Sandra Sanford holds Tyson (left), a five-year-old rat-terrier/yorkie mix and Miss. B a four-year-old silky yorkie mix at Saturday’s event. Behind Sanford were tents for Antknee the balloon twister and Toni Andersen who provided face painting.

FOOD TRUCK TIME: There were a variety of food trucks at Saturday’s event including Food Vibes which Cranston residents Kristie and Glenn Cipalone enjoyed.

A RHODY TOUCH: Anchored In Clothing Co. was one of the many vendors at the Cranston Police Department’s harvest festival. Based in South County, the business sells clothing, hats, jewelry, stickers, home goods and more. Owners Matt and Heidi O’Grady and their seven-year-old daughter Riley were at Saturday’s event. Riley has her own line within the company called Beach Feet.
