Cumberland Farms employee in Johnston tests positive for COVID-19

Cumberland Farms confirmed in a press release Wednesday evening that a team member at the 663 Killingly St. location tested positive for COVID-19.

The store was closed as of 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and will undergo extensive cleaning measures.

“We are taking all appropriate steps following guidance from local health officials,” the release reads. “The store will re-open in the next week. We are grateful to all our customers for their patience and understanding during this time…All Team Members that work at the store have been contacted and advised to follow CDC-recommended guidelines. We are making every effort to provide the affected Team Member and our broader team with the necessary resources and support.”
