Breeze Airways, the Seriously Nice™ low-fare airline founded by aviation entrepreneur David Neeleman, announced Wednesday new and resuming service to six destinations to be added in 2023 including nonstop service to the West Coast starting as soon as March 29.
New routes are:
Breeze already offers five destinations from Providence, including Charleston, SC; New Orleans, LA; Norfolk, VA; Pittsburgh, PA; and Raleigh-Durham, NC.
“We are thrilled that Breeze has continued to enhance its service to Rhode Island, now offering a total of 12 nonstop and direct routes throughout the nation,” Iftikhar Ahmad, President and CEO of the Rhode Island Airport Corporation said in a statement. “We’re proud to partner with Breeze Airways to offer additional options for travelers, including a total of at least 30 weekly flights from Rhode Island T. F. Green International Airport next summer.”
“Breeze always looks for underserved routes where we can add nonstop flights, low fares and our brand of Seriously Nice service,” said Tom Doxey, Breeze Airways’ President. “Today we’re excited to add more service from Providence as it becomes our newest base in the new year, now with 12 nonstop and BreezeThru destinations.”
Breeze took flight in May 2021 and has quickly expanded across the U.S. connecting underserved city pairs with fast, efficient flights. The airline’s business model centers around offering affordable fares with plenty of perks including no change and cancellation fees up to 15 minutes prior to departure, free family seating and enhanced seating options including Extra Legroom and First Class seats. Guests can choose from a la carte or bundled options to create a travel experience that meets their needs.
Fares on the new nonstop route to Cincinnati, OH, to start from $59 one-way, if purchased by December 13, 2022, for travel by September 5, 2023.
