Adopted Ordinances

At a recent meeting of The Johnston Town Council, the Council did adopt the following Ordinances effective immediately:

Ordinance 2021-1: An Ordinance in amendment of Article II Definitions and Article III Zoning Districts and Maps; Use Table Section 340 of the Code of Ordinances of the Town of Johnston. Said Ordinance outlines restrictions of locations of Wind Turbines in the Town. Said Ordinance also prohibits drive-through restaurants from being located within 250 feet of a residential zone.

Ordinance 2021-2: Formerly known as 2020-CP-151-Petition submitted Thomas G. Casale. Said Ordinance changes the Zoning Map for Assessor’s Plat 57-1, Lot 37 to change the zone from R-40 to B-2. Parcel is located at 2631 Hartford Avenue.

Said Ordinances are on file and available for review in the Office of the Town Clerk.
