Sandra Moyer and Janet Cullen Ragno, authors of “Cranston Revisited” and “Cranston Through Time” spent this past Saturday afternoon presenting their two books to an audience at Central Library.

“Cranston Revisited” features vintage photos along with captions describing how people throughout Cranston’s history lived, worked, traveled, worshiped, studied, played and were governed. Meanwhile, “Cranston Through Time” pairs vintage photos of buildings and landmarks in the various villages that make up Cranston with modern photos of what is now located at the same sites.

Moyer and Ragno shared the challenges they faced while working on the first book and how they overcame them while writing the second book. After the presentation and a fun quiz, the authors had copies of the books for sale. (Photos by Steve Popiel)
