Brian Azar, President and Chief Executive Officer, announced July 28 the recipients of the Coastal1 Credit Union’s Investing In Your Future scholarship program. Ten scholarships totaling $28,000 were awarded to high school students pursuing higher education at the following schools – University of Notre Dame, Duke, Clemson, Roger Williams, Yale, University of South Carolina, University of Rhode Island, Endicott College, John Paul the Great Catholic University and St. Lawrence University.

As a longtime champion of financial literacy and education, we’re proud to invest in tomorrow’s leaders,” said Azar. “And enabling recipients to focus on their educational goals with less economic distraction is right in line with the core credit union philosophy of people helping people.”
