This week, local veterans received many thanks from the Thornton Elementary community. Fifth-grade teacher Kelley Cerbo and third-grade daughter Brooke, along with PTO fundraising coordinator Christen Ciarlo and sons Joseph, fifth grade, and Matthew presented veterans Vincent LaFazia and Jimmy Vigeant with a mailbox filled with cards handmade by students and teachers.
