The pumpkin patch at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church on West Shore Road in Hoxsie was back again this year with a wide variety of the gourds from little ones to big one and some of the most unusually shaped ones imaginable. The selection had Melissa Quinlan Finnigan and her husband Shawn looking for the perfect color and shape. The pumpkins also intrigued 6-month old English Bull Dog Eloise who strained on the leash held by Shannon White to meet the photographer. The patch is open Monday, Tuesday Wednesday and Friday noon -6 p.m., Thursday 4- 8 p.m. and on the weekends 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The pumpkins come from a Navajo Reservation in New Mexico as part of the work of Pumpkin Patch Fundraisers. Ten percent of the proceeds sold at St. Mark’s is donated to the Elizabeth Buffum Chace Center with the rest supporting church ministries and the church food pantry. (Warwick Beacon photos)
