Sargent Rehabilitation Center  based in Warwick will host the 23rd Annual Flutie 5K. This significant event raises funds for The Doug Flutie Jr. Foundation for Autism and the Sargent Center programs that support children and families affected by Autism.

The 5k will take place on Saturday, October 15th at Johnson and Wales’ Harborside campus in Providence. Participation for walking, running or strolling is $10 and can be found online at https://secure.qgiv.com/event/flutie5kofprovidenceri/. Registration begins at 8:00 a.m. and the race will begin at 9:00 a.m.

David Kane, CEO of Sargent Center shared, “Sargent Center is honored once again to be chosen as an official site for The Flutie 5K for Autism-Dougie’s Epic Adventure to help continue working with families and people affected by autism.” Autism now affects 1 in every 59 children and it is not partial to race or socioeconomic class. Your participation will help families affected by autism find and afford effective interventions that will help make each day better.”
