Paul’s pumpkins

Paul Sullivan, who worked at Morris Farm for more than 30 year and lost his fight against cancer on Aug. 22, loved yellow pumpkins. Morris Farm usually has a few yellow pumpkins, but when their shipment showed up this year, nearly 80 percent of the pumpkins were yellow. His wife Victoria, who works at the farm, took it as a special sign. She named them Paul’s Pumpkins and when customers learned of it, they wanted yellow pumpkins. With Victoria is Paul’s daughter Adrianna Gaccione. A celebration of Paul’s life will be held Friday, Oct. 15 at 7 p.m. at the Tri-City Elks Lodge. Tickets are $15 with proceeds going to Rowan Shaw, a 3-year old Warwick boy fighting a rare form of pediatric cancer. (Warwick Beacon photo)
